On 10 July 2025, the CRWI Executive Council convened at 8:30 AM for a day of reflection, collaboration, and celebration. The meeting began with a heartfelt prayer, followed by a warm welcome from Sr. Molly, who greeted each participant with flowers.
Present at the meeting were Sr. Nirmalini, Sr. Aruna, Sr. Jecinta, Sr. Audry, Sr. Celine, Sr. Meera, Sr. Doris, Sr. Molly, Mr. Jomit, and Mrs. Asha. Sr. Nirmalini introduced the staff members and invited them to share their experiences of working with CRWI, expressing deep gratitude for their dedication and hard work.
Sr. Molly highlighted CRWI’s journey, reflecting on its past achievements, present initiatives, and future plans, while candidly discussing some of the challenges faced along the way. The council deliberated on important matters, including IMD operations and the renewal of FCRA, and made key decisions to further strengthen CRWI’s mission. Mr. Jomit presented the financial report for 2024–25, providing transparency and insight into the organization’s resource management. By 11:30 AM, the Executive Council joined the GRC group for a subsequent meeting.
The day’s activities culminated in a celebration of togetherness from 6:15 to 7:30 PM, bringing together the GRC team, CRWI Executive Council, and SRWI members. The evening began with a closing prayer led by Abey, followed by heartfelt expressions of gratitude from Mrs. Anitha and Sr. Mary towards the CRWI, Sharanya team, and kitchen staff. Sr. Elsa presented gifts to the kitchen team, and Sr. Molly offered a token of appreciation to the Apostolic Carmel Generalate. Sr. Nirmalini shared closing words of recognition and encouragement, and the group joined in blessings and prayers for Abey ahead of his marriage.
The day concluded with a grand dinner prepared by Sr. Jenita and the Sevakendra staff – an exquisite meal that beautifully marked the end of a meaningful and memorable day for everyone involved.
