About CRWI:

The Conference of Religious Women India (CRWI) under the aegis of Conference of Religious India (CRI) is an organization registered as a Trust in the year 1981 with seven elected Major Superiors from different congregations of the Catholic Church, known as the Governing Board, to provide guidance and support to the trustees and to the organization in meeting its objects and the vision-mission. The journey of CRWI began in the year 1964 when the Vatican council alerted all religious congregations to make themselves relevant to the changing times. Mother M. Theodosia AC was the first president of the organization. This being an initiative of Archbishop Knox, the first intervention began in the year 1964 with the inauguration of Institute Mater Dei - A formation house of young religious leaders of all the congregations.

Today CRWI functions with independent and well-coordinated 4 units, specially evolved to cater to the different purposes of CRWI.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Program Coordinator will be part of the Program Team located at Bangalore and will be solely responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring and quality assurance of different projects and respective activities in coordination with the Program Team

The APC will support the Project Head in designing monitoring tools, effective monitoring of program outputs and results, maintenance of digital data systems, documentation, and assistance in development of knowledge products for visibility and dissemination

Reports To:    Project Head

Key Accountability Areas:     

  1. Work in Collaboration with the Program Team at CRWI and other Units, in the development and implementation of quality program and its relevant activities as well as monitoring and evaluation systems, frameworks, processes, methodologies, tools, analysis and reporting, in alignment with organizational and donor requirements, and set organizational standards.
  2. Conduct knowledge and skill building of staff, partners in different congregations and states for high standards of performance, transparency, quality information and use of data through innovative tools, techniques and methodologies.
  3. Facilitate and Strengthen Religious Women and Network as well as Facilitate the process of cross learning, exchange of best practices and lessons learnt amongst the team and within the network
  4. Independently manage and ensure quality data generation, track progresses, analyse with evidence and timely update to the Project Head for further processing into project enrichment, advocacy, networking and partnership building
  5. Plan and Undertake field support activities devoting 40% of the time to provide handholding support, community interactions and triangulation of findings with ethical considerations.
  6. Increase visibility of the organization by disseminating innovative practices and learning of the projects, progresses, achievements through knowledge products, reports and evidence.
  7. Promote Gender Sensitization and Rights of Women Religious at all platforms and project components 

Qualification And Skills:        

  1. Postgraduate in Social Sciences, Rural Management/ Development, Sociology, Mass Media, Journalism, Communication, MBA or allied field.
  2. Having a minimum of 5 years of working experience in Project Implementation-Management in Social Field, Community Development, Research with strong acumen for Monitoring and Evaluation with digital expertise
  3. Sound experience in digital data collection tools and processes with data management activities, and having analytical skills for carrying out data interpretation
  4. Sound computer skills, including use of the Internet and MS Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  5. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English 
  6. Excellent communication, interpersonal, facilitation, coaching and documentation skills
  7. Self-disciplined, hardworking and committed

Desirable Requirements:      

  1. Should have a desire to work in Catholic Religious organisation and experience of working with Women focused projects
  2. Experience in Social Media Handles, IEC Development, DTP and Organization Branding-Communication-Visibility will be added advantage

Remuneration / Package / Benefits: 

Maximum Budgeted Salary to be offered is between ₹ 45,000 – 50,000, based on experience and overall fit. In addition – existing applicable benefits at CRWI and opportunities for further personal development.
